Empirical research on business ethics of SMEs in the V4 countries

Abstract The aim of this study is to evaluate the level select ethical issues in Visegrad Four (V4) countries (Czech republic, Slovakia, Poland, and Hungary) quantify differences attitudes entrepreneurs field business ethics these countries. Empirical research was conducted June 2022 V4 Data collection carried out by renowned external company MNFORCE using "Computer Assisted Web Interviewing" (CAWI Research Method), according questionnaire created team. total number respondents 1,398, which 347 were from Czech Republic, 322 381 348 Hungary. Statistical hypotheses verified descriptive statistics, chi-square, Z-scores at a α = 5% significance level. preliminary results can be evaluated as follows: high because dominant group showed positive attitude towards defined ethics. that they not only perceived importance ethics, but also implemented promoted practices managerial decision-making.
